Marketing partnershipsSeveral powerful ways of marketing through partners are available to present-day advertisers. Similarly, online influencers, website owners, bloggers, and (even) regular consumers also have several options when it comes to forming business relationships with the brands they’d like to promote. The three ways that are especially noteworthy are:

  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Influencer Marketing
  • Advocacy Marketing

One month from now, on August 11, 2019 (in the heart of Manhattan), I’ll teach a workshop where I will focus on these three, their similarities and differences, and how they may be leveraged to the maximum. Here are the details of my workshop:

TITLE:

Building Marketing Partnerships That Work

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Advertisers/Brands, Independent Consultants

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Beginner, Intermediate

DESCRIPTION:

Present-day technologies have made an array of potent partnership types available for brands to leverage in their marketing. However, these can only be truly powerful when approached with the right expectations and managed using the right approaches. This workshop will delve into three specific types of marketing partnerships – affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, and advocacy marketing – dissecting each, and providing attendees with firm foundational knowledge for structuring each. We will cover an array of key areas: from the types of partners (and their alignment to the marketing campaign’s goals) to compensation models, and from engagement techniques to measuring results.

TAKEAWAYS:

Attendees will have built a solid foundation in affiliate, influencer, and advocacy marketing, understanding the differences (and similarities) between these and knowing what goes into structuring the respective marketing campaign.
