“Omni-Channel Marketing in the Affiliate Space”
Insight into the changing consumer landscape and how affiliate marketing can cleverly target audiences however they maybe shopping. The shopping landscape of the UK has changed beyond all recognition over the past few years. We’ve seen a steady rise in smartphone use and the tablet has transformed how we browse and purchase. The implication has led to not only a change in how consumers buy, but also how retailers sell.
Relevant across all marketing channels, marketers need to truly understand their audience’s behaviour and market their messages across all channels. The use of personal insights into behaviour and data helps advertisers delve into the psyche of audiences more than ever before, but with so much information comes a lot of confusion.
Hear about how omni-channel marketing is being implemented by innovative publishers who are addressing the change in consumer behaviour. We will also look at how advertisers can ensure an audience is seeing the right message at the right time, whatever device they may be using.

“It’s Behind You! Finding the Value of Affiliate Marketing Behind Last Click”
Affiliate marketing is still widely undervalued as a channel, and often misrepresented in attribution strategies that fail to understand the nuances of the predominantly CPA model.
The desire to look beyond the last click often results in a fear that complex attribution strategies will follow. However, analysing customer journey data can reveal insights that enable marketers to understand the individual contribution of affiliates and empower publishers to demonstrate their influence across the entire customer journey.
Working with some of the biggest global brands on their marketing data strategies I see first-hand how affiliates continue to be the unsung heroes of digital marketing. Using real-world examples, this session will reveal the true value (and hidden potential) of the affiliate channel in the wider digital marketing landscape – providing top tips and takeaways on improving your affiliate marketing strategy, from both brand and affiliate perspectives.

“Work With Networks or Opt For an In-house Affiliate Program?”
When you are to set up an affiliate program you have a set of options including joining one or more affiliate networks or setting up an in-house affiliate program.
An affiliate network makes thousands of affiliates instantly available to you. An in-house affiliate program enables you to have a direct relationship with your affiliates and thus have more control and freedom.
So which one is the best approach? It’s to do them both. The session will delve deep into how an affiliate manager can do both. Challenges in doing this will be tacked and solutions proposed.

“The Power of Mobile is in Bridging the Online and Offline World”
Tradedoubler’s original research will look at how and why people use their mobiles in store and what outcomes this behaviour drives – what are the implications of this behaviour for retailers and pure play online marketers?
Affiliate marketing channels are widely used by consumers and present opportunities for brands to engage with customers while they are on the go and in purchase mode – our research shows that brands that ignore these channels could be missing out on sales.
With a lack of mobile optimised sites still an issue and consumer concerns over privacy and security, the gap between on/offline still exists. The presentation will highlight the key findings from the Tradedoubler Insight Unit and present the key considerations that retailers need to address if they are to monetise the opportunities presented by mobile.

“What It Takes To Optimize Your Digital Spend On A Global Scale”
As the fastest growing segment of online advertising, performance marketing has the potential to immediately contribute to new revenue opportunities, especially on the global front. Over the last 5 years the industry has been experiencing a paradigm shift from a once clouded and cluttered infrastructure to an evolving ecosystem with greater transparency where marketers can have immediate and quantifiable results. Though agencies, advertisers and decision makers are now better equipped with a holistic perspective and greater transparency to understand the performance of their multi-channel operations, how do they make real-time decisions to better target their digital spend and measurably improve ROI in a global market?
Attendees will be provided with the following:
•Insights into how the performance marketing space is currently managed and the emerging trends every performance marketer should apply to their worldwide roadmap.
•A case study of the trials and tribulations Neo@ogilvy faced before they had the advantage of seeing the performance of their global marketing campaigns in real-time.
•Best practices for leveraging technology, direct relationships, multiple languages and currencies, as well as transparency across multiple performance marketing channels to gain greater insight, increased ROI, and the opportunity to firmly establish a global footprint.
•Actionable items to help build and improve a global performance marketing strategy.

“Affiliate Marketing: The Long and the Short of it”
As consumers continue to curate how they consume content and via what channels, it is becoming increasingly important that advertisers engage with as many consumer touch points as possible to influence the purchasing decision making process. Affiliate marketing isn’t just about the short tail – far from it. It has the potential and reach to influence consumers from the first to the last click of their purchasing journey. This session with Daniel Lancioni, Senior Key Account Manager at affilinet UK, looks at the different affiliate types and the value they add for advertisers in terms of brand building, traffic generation and the delivery of sustained sales.
